I am a certified plumber with over 20 years’ experience on the tools.

I was raised in Dunedin where my father owned and operated Aitken Plumbers Ltd. I grew up learning the trade ….the old plumbing way.

I can make, fix, repair and service a large number of products for heater, hotstreams, insinkerator, tap mixer and Sani flow pumps- just to mention a few. This extensive product knowledge has given me a great background in fault finding working within factories, large hotels and halls of residence.

For 2 years I worked at Southland Hospital disconnecting the vital machines in the old hospital, and reconnecting to the new one. This job was required to be done in a really tight timeframe and taught me how to really effectively manage my jobs – planning and installing with no time for error. I pride myself on my ability to get work done quickly and efficiently for my clients.

I like to help my clients at the planning stages of any renovation work - helping to advise on getting the job done in the most cost effective way with the best products. 

New builds/renovations can be very stressful! My background, experience and knowledge of the industry can minimize the stress

Note: If you need a new bathroom and the room is not being structurally changed (e.g. bathroom renovation) I can install all the products myself and organise all other sub trades that may be needed
